Everyone working in local government knows that pensions are shaping into a gigantic issue. Actually, everyone working in state and national government, and most private sector folks know that too.
Anyway, a group called the Fullerton Association of Concerned Taxpayers has launched a site called Pension Tusnami to track national news headlines and "monitor developments in all three pension spheres -- public employees, corporations and social security." At first glance, headlines and commentary on California government pension issues seem to dominate, which in itself is saying something.
