Smartest Small Towns in America

Forbes is back with another city list, this time taking a look at the best educated small towns in the US. Almost all are suburbs near major universities or research centers, and Silicon Valley dominated the list.  Palo Alto and Los Altos clocked in at #3 and #5, respectively, and neighboring Cupertino registered a respectable #18 on the list.

The news wasn't all good for california, however, with the LA County City of Cudahy finishing dead last on the list.  Forbes used census data to look at cities with 20,000 to 65,000 residents across the country, view the full story here.

I follow news about Los Gatos, CA, which is how I discovered your site. My net snagged your story that Forbes put Los Gatos on a list. Except it didn't--it's Los Altos, not Los Gatos. Los Altos is about 20 minutes up the freeway from Los Gatos.
