You could be forgiven for thinking Governor Brown was currently up for reelection after viewing the video below, as the California Republican Party has released a new ad that comes down hard on the governor for “breaking his promises.” The ad criticizes Brown for his spending plans, growing state government, and being “just another politician with more empty promises.” At the end of the video, viewers are directed to a website entitled “Brown’s Broken Promises,” where voters can sign a petition.
