Photo: Gov. Brown Listed Making Sutter Brown First Dog a 2011 Milestone
Before the year 2011 drew to a close, Governor Brown found time to toot his own horn with the release of a report entitled “Milestones and Accomplishments.” Let’s just say brevity was not the order of the day, as even First Dog Sutter Brown gets a mention in the long report that seems to stop just short of mentioning what the governor accomplished eating every day.
No stone is left unturned as the 31-page report puts a favorable spin on just about every action the governor took in the past year, including the budget (yes, that budget), the State of the State address, and the visit by British royals.
One may find plenty to take issue with in the governor’s list of “accomplishments” for this year; take realignment, as local governments are still left in the lurch over secure and long-term funding for the major shift in responsibility.
Take a look at the report for yourself here.
